We are having a big clean out and here is a rare opportunity to purchase an original unique handmade designer hat by Julie Fleming. As Melbourne’s longest established milliner, this is a VINTAGE, highly sought-after and one of a kind hat for any collector of fine vintage clothing or lover of unique hand crafted hats.

This hat is hand made from a teal-coloured fine Italian straw, which has faded slightly with age giving it that special vintage aged look. Adorned with a gorgeous collection of flowers and leaves, and finished with a hand-sewn label on the inside. An excellent addition to any millinery collection, and even ideal for a summer wedding, the races, or for anyone who loves to dress up in genuine vintage clothing.

This is a ‘gutter brim’ hat - with a deep upturned brim. The hat has been hand-blocked to a size of 21″, but has a hand-sewn adjustable head fitting band with a small ribbon to alter the inside measurement. At the widest point the brim measures 4″, with a further 2″ turned up in to the gutter of the brim.
