Another chance to grab a bargain bundle of fine silk millinery flowers. This big selection of large size roses are in a lemon-cream colour (more pale yellow than cream). They have a beautiful realistic detailing on the petals - almost like a ribbed effect, making them feel quite fragile and lifelike.

This is a great bargain - 23 roses are in this pack! They are quite old and have been in our studio for some time and some are a little squashed, but open out easily and look great once the petals have been spread. A perfect bridal colour - ideal for a range of crafts, wedding table decorations, millinery, hair/corsages/fascinators, or fashion design.

We’re still clearing out the studio!

This is great bargain bulk buy - 15 LARGE rich creamy coloured silk roses. Each measures about 6inches, and they are perfect for millinery, corsages, table decorations, bridal wear, fashion design and a range of crafts. They are not brand new, but are in generally ‘good’ (not ‘perfect’) condition - nearly all of them are still connected at the base, 1 or 2 have a layer of petals missing and will have been used for a project at some point. They open out beautifully and will be a real delight to the winning bidder.

These unusual purses feature stunning images of women in glamorous attire printed on luxurious velvet material. Each purse measures approximately 5.5” wide and 5” tall. It does up with a zip and is lined with black silk.

Be sure to specify exactly which of the three designs you would like as they are essentially the same purse however they feature different images.

A classic magazine published in 1966 and displaying the seasons latest designs on very stylish models.
There are approx 20 pages in flawless black and white photography. These were ’style’ books published after the designs went on the catwalk in Paris and used as reference books for various millinery houses all over the world - captions are in French and English and looks like this magazine was published in Switzerland. I have taken lots of photo’s so you can see what you are getting and to show the diversity of the styles. Some pen marks where some enterprising milliner has noted her references. I have soft focused some of the photo’s just for the effect but all the photo’s are very crisp.

In this magazine the styles photographed cover summer and winter hats, including lots of interesting hats made of furs - and unique gorgeous detailing. This magazine originated in London, England where I trained in millinery and my memory evades me in trying to remember where I purchased this magazine (!) more than likely at a market. The spine of this copy is in generally good vintage condition with a small rip in the top. The magazine is still intact - all pages in place and this magazine is still very serviceable as a reference book. Each page has a least one style and some pages carry two styles so lots of inspiration here and from the era when black and white photography was king and such beautiful stylish models all stunning beauties. Several of the designs are stunning enough to be framed.We also have two other vintage millinery magazines up for auction so take a look in our store!

This is an absolute bargain!

A huge lot of large very full silk millinery roses. There are SEVEN that are full and in tact, perfect for bridal hair, wedding decorations, home decor or even for table decorations. Each rose measures approximately 6 inches across.

We are also including the seperate petal flower shapes of silk that make up each rose, as some have fallen apart or been used in various projects. (pieces are from about a further 4 or 5 roses)

This paper is so divine, it is from our new range of wrapping papers! It is quite unique and stands out as it is very shiny! The paper is embossed with a floral design that is vintage inspired. The underside of the paper is pink and this shows through onto the front of the paper throughout the silver. It is very charming and pretty! This paper would be perfect for a table runner or other decorations at a wedding. It could also be used for scrap booking for for making party or wedding invitations.

This is handmade in India and has the most beautiful surface - a quality heavy weight paper. The paper size is 56cm wide X 76.5cm long, large enough to wrap an average gift with some to spare.

This is a beautiful 100% silk remnant measures approximately 120cm x 20 mtr (thats a huge amount over 20 yards) . It is a gorgeous silk chiffon from ALANNAH HILL, with a summery floral print in striking PURPLE - this would make more than one beautiful summer dress, and would be gorgeous for bridal wear. It is silk chiffon and very floaty, with a little stretch to it and would be wonderful to wear. It is very typical of the ‘pretty’ flowery Alannah Hill style. This has been left over from some project or other and comes to you in perfect condition.

Another great bargain pack! A large lot of pale lilac/purple-pink millinery silk roses.

These flowers measure approximately 6×6 inches, and are still held together by the top of the green ’stems’. They are very tactile and have a textured papery feel to the silk. There are 23 flowers in this HUGE bargain pack!

Amazing bargain!

Yes - we are STILL clearing up the studio and have found more packs of our famous silk flowers.

Here is a lot of 14 LARGE red silk millinery grade roses. They are approx 6×6 inches, and are lovely and soft to touch. They look gorgeous in the hair and would make a great corsage. They mostly still have their green leafy ’stems’ at the back, making them ready for you to pull apart to use the seperat petals, or glue a brooch pin or hair clip to the back.

I hand made this tiara and decorated it with pearls, Czech beads in amber and red and this is made from all brass wire. It would make a great addition to a theater costume collection and have a real Art Deco or even medieval look - great for a special fancy dress party. Excellent as a tiara or headdresses etc. See the photos for more information on this piece - tiara features dyed dark green pheasant feathers and they are wired on and could be removed if necessary. Please note that our mannequin is standard size 22 1/2 and so you will be able to see this shape is undersized and designed to sit on top of the head -great shape ! We are having big clear out so have a look at our other items as there are lots all going up around the same time.

I hand made these 3 tiaras and decorated them with ‘pearl’ beads and this lot includes handmade hair clip in old gold with Rose detail. They would make a great addition to a theater costume collection, and have a real Elizabethan or even medieval look.
