This is a gold tone metal clasp frame handbag handle from a vintage GLOMESH or OROTON mesh evening bag. These bags have become highly collectable and as sought after as ever. This is a salvaged frame from a damaged bag and would be suitable for re-using and reinventing in to a great bag if you’re feeling crafty and creative, or to repair an existing mesh bag, or for the collector. Width is approximately 6 inches, 2.5″ high, with about 7″ hanging length of chain/rope metal handle.

This is a RARE true vintage treasure ONLY available in OUR eBay store!

This is a small cream coloured plastic handbag or purse frame, with a push-down clasp and a link chain handle. It appears to be UNUSED (as it still bears its original tag reading ‘MADE IN FRANCE’), and has 18 holes on each side of the frame for sewing on to a handmade bag or small purse. This is a TRUE GENUINE VINTAGE craft item and is in very good condition with no visible damage. It measures approx 6″ wide (15cm) and frame + chain hang at a height of about 8.5″ (as if being held as a handbag).

Chapeaux modeles design magazine form the 1960’s

A classic magazine published in 1965 and displaying the seasons latest designs on very stylish models.
>There are approx 20 pages in flawless black and white photography. These were ’style’ books published after the designs went on the catwalk in Paris and used as reference books for various millinery houses all over the world - captions are in French and English and looks like this magazine was published in Switzerland. I have taken lots of photo’s so you can see what you are getting and to show the diversity of the styles. Some pen marks where some enterprising milliner has noted her references. I have soft focused some of the photo’s just for the effect but all the photo’s are very crisp.

In this magazine the styles photographed cover summer and winter hats, including lots of turbans - and gorgeous detailing including bows and veiling. This magazine originated in London, England where I trained in millinery and my memory evades me in trying to remember where I purchased this magazine (!) more than likely at a market. The spine of this copy has a few rips in it but the magazine is still intact - all pages in place and this magazine is still very serviceable as a reference book. Each page has a least one style and some pages carry two styles so lots of inspiration here and from the era when black and white photography was king and such beautiful stylish models all stunning beauties. Several of the designs are stunning enough to be framed.

This is the most beautiful vintage lace! It is a gorgeous pale pink/peach colour with blue embroidered flowers with green embroidered leaves. It is very delicate and unique, it would be perfect for adding detail to that special garment or decoration. The edges of the lace are also embroidered and the bottom of the lace has scalloped edges. So divine!
The lace measures just over 5.5 meters. This is the only lace of this kind that we have left for sale so make sure you don’t miss out!

These branches of beautiful New Zealand Maidenhair fern have been freeze-dried, and are so light and delicate. They have  gorgeous graduating shades of green  starting darker and stronger near the bottom and lighter towards the ends. Ideal for specialist floral displays, florist supplies, decorative bouquets and home decor projects - would even look interesting in a frame as they are quite flat.

A set of 5 vintage Chinese paper lanterns in assorted colours.

These sweet lanterns measure approx 11cm wide, and stretch to 15cm tall. They are in gorgeous shades of bright and pastel colours, and the ends are decorated with oriental motifs of butterflies, flowers etc, and have a tassel hanging from the bottom.

They are in ‘good’ vintage condition - some of the colours have faded slightly with age but the colour is generally even and all over the lantern, so no patches, but some are brighter than others.

You will receive 5 lanterns in various colours. These are great for home decor, parties, and add there are some great kitsch 1950’s shades here. They look lovely in windows or by fairy lights, or even in the back yard.
